A pretty decent package for a green laser and a pretty bright flash light.

im buying the silent cat .17 and getting the universal barrel mounted laser/light from combat optics with the green laser and strobing light. comes with pressure switches too. also i will continue to support gamo for their PBA and buy the gun buddy sling because it comes off easily. mod your gun with the parts that work for you. nobody said you HAVE to buy this, it's just an option if you like scope-mounted lasers.

I'm quite skeptic about spending $ on a laser. Even with a scope, you can miss a squirrel. If the squirrel is lying closely to a branch, fence or a tphone-wire, you'll end up nailing the branch, fence or the tphone-wire. Notice the depth between the scope and the actual barrel where the pelet comes out. The laser (which would be placed ON TOP of the scope) would be even further from the barrel. As a result, you'll just scare the living crap out of the varmint instead of hitting it. Granted that the target is clear as day (5x the actual size thanks to the scope) but you'll miss almost every time. They should create a laser that can be mounted to the barrel. Doing so would make the word 'miss' obsolete. Perhaps I can tape a laser the barrel myself. Hell, it'll endure the same shock as it would on the scope (further away from the target).

Green lasers are more complex than red lasers, and you see them 2-4x more effectively than a red laser at 2x the power. Also, green can be seen quite clearly in the day and night, where red is low light only. The green is worth the cash (imo).
